Amber

Amber started her dancing career at the age of 3 with Joanne Bobrow and Tracey Mc Niven, Dancers – The Classical Pointe.

She achieved much success in her ballet career, competing in competitions and dancing in many theatre productions throughout the years. Amber won numerous awards at festivals and in the studio. She was a member of the Johannesburg Youth Ballet during 2002 and 2003. In 2016 she achieved her RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies.

Amber trained in both Modern and Tap through the Association of International Dance Teachers and was awarded her Modern Solo Performance in 2009. Amber qualified as an A.I.D.T Modern Dance Teacher that same year.

She has also studied Flamenco dancing and Irish and done workshops with the Mzanzi Dance Company, as well as the New York Academy Alvin Ailey Dance Company, Horton with Anna Marie Forsythe and classes at STEPS. Amber has taken students to compete overseas in Germany and Poland for the International Dance Organization’s Show Dance, Modern and Jazz World Trial Circuit and to New York to Compete in the American Dance Awards.

Amber also has a Diploma in Exercise Science specialising in Sports Conditioning, Coaching Science and Training in Different Environments.
